Boost math
Coverage matters more than the number on the button.
A 20× boost only applies while its timer is active. Across a full day, combine boosted and unboosted hours:
Daily multiplier = ((boosted hours × 20) + (unboosted hours × 1)) ÷ 24.
| Daily coverage | Average 24-hour multiplier |
|---|---|
| 0 hours | 1× |
| 4 hours | 4.17× |
| 8 hours | 7.33× |
| 16 hours | 13.67× |
| 24 hours | 20× |
Use the TerraMine earnings calculator to model your own mine portfolio and daily boost coverage.
Daily schedule
Stack before long gaps, then top up when convenient.
- Use the available free boosts before leaving the app.
- Watch rewarded ads only when the extra coverage is worth your time.
- Fill close to the eight-hour cap before sleep, work or school.
- Top up during natural phone breaks instead of constantly checking the timer.
The official guide says the daily free set resets at 4 AM EST. A full-day 20× result requires later top-ups because only eight hours can be stored at once.
Active play
Turn the boost on before a check-in route.
TerraMine's official guide says boosted check-ins award more TerraBucks. Activate or extend the timer before visiting nearby players, then follow the TerraMine check-in rewards guide to plan the route.
The passive rent boost and Coal Miner Maze rewards are separate systems. Do not multiply mini-game TB by 20 in your planning.
Best use
More mines make every boosted minute more valuable.
The boost multiplies a portfolio's rent. Early players generally gain more from acquiring another producing mine than from spending scarce materials on a deep 1% upgrade.
Start with the TerraMine beginner strategy, then use the mine upgrade guide once nearby claim space becomes scarce.
