The TerraMine beginner strategy that compounds.

Use the referral before the first claim, buy producing mines before expensive upgrades, and build a daily routine around Coal Maze, boosts and nearby check-ins.

01

First session

Build the largest useful opening portfolio.

  1. Activate a referral before your first TerraAcre claim.
  2. Claim clusters near home, work, school or a frequent walking route.
  3. Spend most early TB on additional producing mines.
  4. Identify every Coal mine and begin its level 1–11 route.

Avoid isolated squares you may never revisit. TerraMine's current terms allow passive earnings to pause after six months of property inactivity and describe possible forfeiture after twelve months.

02

Daily loop

Prioritize the actions with repeatable value.

OrderActionReason
1Stack your earnings boostUp to 20× passive earnings; eight hours can be stored
2Walk a check-in routeBoosted check-ins currently provide a separate TB source
3Run Coal Miner MazeCurrent community favorite for repeatable TB
4Check inactive propertiesProtect rent and long-term ownership
03

Expansion vs upgrades

Buy more mines before optimizing one mine.

Each mine upgrade adds 1% to that property, while another mine adds an entirely new base rent stream. Early upgrade costs rise, but the percentage improvement remains the same.

When upgrades finally make sense, prioritize low-level mines with the largest base rent: Diamond, then Gold, Coal and Rock. A low-cost early level usually produces a better return on materials than pushing one mine deep into expensive levels.

04

Risk control

Keep the game free while cash-out remains pending.

TerraMine displays USD earnings, but its current payout system is not live. Do not spend based on a calculator projection or expected payback date.

Expand with free TB, keep your mines active, and reassess when real withdrawals and final rules can be verified.

Plain-English answers

Frequently asked questions

What should a new TerraMine player do first?

Activate a referral, claim useful clusters with the starter and bonus TB, then identify Coal mines for the early Miner Maze rotation.

Should beginners upgrade or buy more mines?

For most early accounts, buying another producing mine adds more rent than an expensive 1% upgrade on one existing mine.

How often must a mine remain active?

Current terms say property earnings may pause at 180 days without qualifying activity, with possible forfeiture after 365 days.
